Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on 19th August 1965, is an American actor. Her most well-known role is that of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. As a result of her portrayal as Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. The seventh season of the show was concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick's recurring role of Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also notable. Sedgwick was awarded an Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other film roles include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's The Ones (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) and What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick was one of the New York City native, the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald), an educator and family therapist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI as a venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish and her father was an Episcopalian and of English heritage. Sedgwick has declared herself Jewish and has said she attends Passover seders.
