Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born on March 4, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress, comedian, and writer. O'Hara is the proud recipient of many distinctions, including a Genie Award. In 2018, she was made an Officer of Canada and in 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. She first came to the attention of an actress in 1974 as she was a part of The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. With John Candy and Dan Aykroyd she was part of the main ensemble of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara and Candy began working in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara won the Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her writing in the Outstanding category for Variety Series. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were included on the Second City artistic board in 2022.
